Death Penalty USA 2005 - 2006

Home       Authors     Preface

Death Penalty USA 2003 - 2004 is the second volume in a series of capital punishment books by Delfino and Day providing details of the capital crimes perpetrated by all 124 inmates executed in the United States between January 2003 and December 2004. Reading this compilation of grim and horrific deaths for which only males, not just men, were executed will not be easy. Only by knowing how the State selects those who suffer retribution for each and every murder can we determine whether the U.S. government's promise of deterrence and a punishment that is not cruel and unusual is being fulfilled and that "death is truly an awesome punishment."
